A sneak peek at Rodial’s make-up range…

A sneak peek at Rodial’s make-up range…
This was probably the delivery to end all deliveries. I was SO excited to finally get my hands on some of the pieces from Rodial’s fabulous, specially edited make-up range that I literally screamed at the postman when he arrived. I was gutted to miss the launch of Rodial’s sculpting bar at Harvey Nicks, especially because contouring is my current fave obsession, so to have the chance to try some of the collection in the comfort of my own home was far too exciting.

I’d heard so much about Rodial’s revolutionary contouring products, including their grey, Instaglam contour powder (yes, grey!) and although I’m currently in love with Charlotte Tilbury’s bronze/glow duo, I wanted a different sort of contour away from that shimmery, hollywood bronze that CT has down to a tee. I was so impressed with the range on initial testing. The packaging is sleek, and extremely sturdy (which gets extra bonus points from me) and each product seems to have had so much thought gone into it.

When it comes to a contour, I’m after products that I can use on a daily basis – I’m not really into Kim-K’ing myself regularly, but an everyday contour I think is an essential beauty product. The main picture is a finished result of me just dabbling with the range, and trying it out for the first time. I will be giving a more in depth look into the brand once I’ve tried a few more times, watched some more tutorials, and really learnt my cheekbones and eyebrows inside out.

I’m really excited because I made a NY resolution to do more make-up photos because I’ve never really been confident enough to do so. But I went out and bought myself my first proper light for my SLR… which has already made a HUGE difference to my pictures … as well as finally getting myself a proper Canon remote. So yes… watch this space and I can’t wait to show you some more of the products in the range including their GLAMOLASH skinny mascara, Instaglam airbrush primer (phenomenal!!), hyaluronic cheek sculpt, Instaglam magic pen and Instaglam glow.
